I was born in the United Kingdom and moved to Cleveland in 1970 where I attended Bradley Central High School. I have always dreamed of being a teacher, and decided to continue my education at The University of Tennessee - GO VOLS! I received my B.S. degree in Elementary Education and began teaching at Oak Grove. Since I enjoyed teaching young children so much, I went back to school and earned the M.Ed in Early Childhood Education and the Ed.S in Administration and Supervision. My entire career has been spent at Oak Grove where I love the children and my colleagues.
I am married to Edwin Curtis. Our children are Will and Emma. Will is a freshman at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and Emma is a freshman at Cleveland High School. We have a lot of fun with our pets, Stoney and Sox. We attend Saint Luke's Episcopal Church. My interests are travel, reading, listening to music, watching movies (particularly older movies), and spending time with family and friends.

Thank you so much for the educational video and please keep 'em coming.
Your math tutorial will be of great assistance to your classroom. It even helped me remember a thing or two.
Thank you.
